Hall SCR Innovation Continues

The SCR department at Hall has had a busy year providing rigging for yachts large and small, for both racing and cruising. Continuous Airfoil SCR was provided for the Baltic 108 WinWin (pictured), a hi-tech racer/cruiser. The side rigging was fabricated as one continuous piece, and was just able to fit inside the Hall US building! Other continuous projects include the Cookson 50 and TP52 Vesper, both high performance racing yachts. Highlights of discontinuous projects include rigging for multiple Oysters, Swans, and a J/125 retrofit.

A new development for SCR was used on the retrofit rigging for the Wally 80 Tango. A discontinuous V1 with continuous upper rigging allowed for easy shipping while minimizing hardware weight and expense. Hall recently completed a bobstay with bobbin end fittings for a Baltic 78 and will be making this type of bobstay for a Contest 72 and an IRC52. The bobbin end fittings are lightweight and allow for a simple pin connection, making this an ideal solution for a bobstay.
